This ring is made with an AU (about uncirculated) pre 1904 morgan dollar that is milled down to accept a ring made from a Canadian large cent. The captured Canadian penny ring is allowed to freely spin inside of the morgan creating a ring that is guaranteed to get attention. Check out this video of one being made and get a closer look at the finished product.

These coin rings are some of the rarest that I make. Carson city morgan dollars are the most iconic and rare in the entire series. For years I shied away from making these but recently decided to go for it and start offering these. These coins were minted in the 1800s and then sat in wooden crates in obscurity until they were re discovered in 1964 and then packaged for sale starting in 1972. Each of these coin rings started off as on of those uncirculated coins.

These rings start as silver Franklin half dollars that I hand forge into rings. They are never melted or cut and always make a good first impression! Rings will look slightly different depending on the size you choose. Rings from size 8-9 1/2 will have a slight curve to them. The picture of the 1963 half dollar (Picture 4,5, and 6) is a size 8 and is the most curved. Every size larger is less curved. The 1954 half dollar (Picture 1, 2, and 3) is a size 10 and they look pretty much the same up through size 12 1/2. The picture of the 1951 half dollar (Pictures 7, 8, and 9) is what they look like from size 13-14. You can’t find a more unique beautiful ring to wear anywhere else (unless of course you look at my other items!). Wear a piece of re-purposed history today From The Mint- change you can wear!
