A kunai (苦無, kunai) is a Japanese tool thought to be originally derived from the masonry trowel.[1] The two widely recognized variations of the kunai are short kunai (小苦無 shō-kunai) and the big kunai (大苦無 dai-kunai). Although a basic tool, in the hands of a martial arts expert, the kunai could be used as a multi-functional weapon. The kunai is commonly associated with the ninja, who used it to gouge holes in walls. Many popular manga characters use kunai as both their primary and secondary weapons. It measures just over 2 1/2 inches long by about 1/2 an inch wide. It is cast in solid sterling silver and is finished with a dark antique. Once finished, the edges of the blade is sanded back to silver to give it that cutting edge look and then finally the handle is wrapped with a white fabric. If you wanted a pendant that is unique and has a back story to it, this might be the pendant for you. These come with a nickel plated steel ball chain but can be upgraded to a heavier sterling silver ball chain.
